Purchasing procedure?

  1. You send us technical drawings for the profiles which you would like to bend using our machine
  2. We will then send you our pro forma invoice for the machine with the tools for your profiles
  3. We are signing a purchasing contract for the machine
  4. You implement 50% advance payment and send us samples of your profiles 20 cm long
  5. We will produce the tools and prepare the machine for you
  6. Your workers will come to our company for a three-day training
  7. After the training, when the machine and the tools are ready for transport, you will implement the payment of the remaining 50%, and the machine will be sent to your company within three days.

What are 3D cameras?

3D cameras are sensors which provide a three-dimensional view of the area around the machine covered by their field of view. Unlike regular 2D cameras which assign color to each pixel, thermal cameras which assign temperature to each pixel, the 3D cameras assign to each pixel the distance between the camera and the object seen by that pixel. In other words, 3D cameras can be utilized for reliable detection of the size and shape of the objects in their field of view as well as for the detection of the distance of the objects from the camera. The 3D cameras have lateral resolution, that is, the number of pixels in the matrix (similar to the regular cameras), as well as depth resolution, that is, the ability of the camera to determine the distance between the camera and the object for each pixel in the matrix.

What is the purpose of the 3D cameras set above the machine?

The 3D cameras provide a three-dimensional view of the bending process where each point of interest on the machine and on the profile is defined dimensionally and in space. The 3D cameras define the position of the profile in all three axes as well as the position of all points and objects of interest set in the area around machine. The application of the 3D cameras establishes a feedback loop which provides real time information to the computer regarding the profile being bent on the machine, that information being a current measured state which is being compared with the anticipated, that is, predetermined state. The application of the 3D cameras to the bending machine with three and four rollers provides controlled management, regulation of control as well as correction of the bending process, where the initiated bending process is corrected if it is not being executed as anticipated, with the aim of achieving predetermined angle, radius or diameter of the bent profile when the controlled bending process is completed.

How much time is needed for profile preparation and bending?

Required time mostly depends on the length of the profile so, for the preparation, approximately 15 – 20 min is necessary while the bending process lasts 7-8 min.

What is used for filling the profiles?

All profile chambers are filled with quartz sand.

Why are profiles closed?

Profiles are closed to stop sand from dropping out from the profile during the bending process.

Is sand thrown away after use?

Sand is not thrown away after use. On the contrary, sand is becoming better for bending after use and it can be used unlimited number of times.

What is the maximum height of a profile bent on the machine?

Maximum height of a profile bent on the machine is 120 mm.

What is the maximum width of a profile bent on the machine?

Maximum width of a profile bent on the machine is 110 mm.

What type of material is used for tool production?

Tools for PVC profiles are produced using high-density polypropylene. Tools for Aluminium profiles are produced using high-density polypropylene and polyamide.

How many arches can be bent with one tool?

Tools for PVC profiles can last unlimited period of time and cannot be deformed. In our company we are still using tools which have been produced 15 years ago.
Tools for Aluminium profiles are consumable and have to be modified after a certain period.
Depending on the hardness of the profile, tools for Aluminium profiles can be used for bending 50 to 200 arches without modification.Tools for PVC profiles can last unlimited period of time and cannot be deformed. In our company we are still using tools which have been produced 15 years ago.
Tools for Aluminium profiles are consumable and have to be modified after a certain period.
Depending on the hardness of the profile, tools for Aluminium profiles can be used for bending 50 to 200 arches without modification.

Why are profiles and rollers lubricated with oil?

Profiles and rollers are lubricated to reduce the friction between them.

Color of the machine?

Standard color for the machine is blue. Machine is also available in red color.

Installation procedure for the machine?

Installation procedure is very simple. It is only necessary to connect three-phase socket to the machine power cable and connect the machine to a three-phase electricity source. No additional adjustments are necessary.

How is PVC profile heated?

PVC profile is heated on the machine, during the bending process, using hot air. There is no additional preheating of the profile in an oil tank or a heating chamber. Temperature on the profile during the bending does not exceed 50-60 degrees.

Is it possible to bend PVC profile without steel reinforcement?

Of course our machine can bend PVC without steel. This bending process is almost identical to the bending process of the PVC profile with steel.

Can all arch shapes be bent with steel reinforcement?

With our machine it is possible to bend any arch shape with steel reinforcement without difficulties. However, it was proved in practice that bending circular sections with steel causes additional problems in further processing of the arch (cutting problem, welding problem…). So, in practice, only regular arches with verticals are bent with steel.

Maximum length of a profile (maximum radius)?

The length of the bent profile, i.e. the radius of the arch bent on the machine is unlimited. Unlike other technologies, our technology is not limited with 3 m long plastic inserts used for filling the inside of a profile. Therefore, with our machines it is possible to bend maximum length of a profile because within our technology the inside of a profile is filled with quartz sand.

Minimal radius?

Minimal radius depends on the quality and width of a profile being bent. With quality profiles, 45-50 mm wide it is possible to achieve minimal radius of 150-175 mm.

Warranty?

Warranty for the machine is one year.

Procedure in case malfunction occurs on the machine?

In case malfunction happens, you should inform us about the malfunction via e-mail or telephone as soon as possible, and our technicians will find a solution for the problem as soon as possible. If the elimination of the malfunction requires replacement of the malfunctioning part, spare part will be delivered to you in the shortest period, and, if it is necessary, we will send our technician to replace the malfunctioning part. Our company covers all the expenses concerning the repairs done during the warranty period. After the warranty period we remain at your disposal if you need any logistic or technical support.

Training for the machine?

Complete training for machine usage lasts three days. The training in the seller's facilities is included in the machine price. The buyer is covering the accommodation expenses of the employees sent for the training and the cost of the profiles used during the training. The training in the buyer's facilities is extra charged and is not included in the machine price. If the training is done in the buyer's facilities, the buyer has to cover accommodation expenses and local transportation expenses for the employees coming to perform the training.

Is surface or color of a PVC profile damaged during the bending process?

Surface or color is not damaged during the bending process, because the profile is protected with the protective tape and is lubricated with oil, thus eliminating the friction between the profile and the tools.

Is surface or color of an Aluminium profile damaged during the bending process?

Aluminium profiles are bent without any damage done to the outer surface, because the tools for these profiles are made of special plastic and even the color of an aluminium profile is preserved.
